The Corporate Executive Board has spent much of the past decade outgrowing its earlier homes in the Watergate Building and 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue. In early 2008, all five of the D.C. offices previously centered around 2000 Pennsylvania were united under one roof with the completion of Waterview, the new U.S. headquarters located across the Potomac River from Georgetown in Arlington, Virginia.
The new Waterview headquarters combines modern technology, spacious offices, and convenient services with a spectacular location just minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. Architecturally-designed conference rooms promote team discussion, learning, and comfort. Staff members enjoy maximized access to the natural light which streams in from each floor’s wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, Waterview has been constructed to be environmentally responsible, using guidelines provided by the U.S. Green Building Council’s program for building interiors. From the 24th floor Member Conference Center boasting panoramic views of the Potomac waterfront, the Washington monument, and the Capitol building, to the 4th floor café and terrace, Waterview is a world-class learning and working environment.

Two new U.S. office locations opened in 2007 in Chicago, Illinois and San Francisco, California. Conveniently located in the West Loop, the Chicago office is situated within five blocks of all subway lines and directly across from Chicago’s landmark Union Station. The location puts the Chicago office close to the central Loop, the city’s historical downtown. The surrounding West Loop neighborhood is rapidly being developed, and new businesses and residential properties are continuously opening up around this area.
The San Francisco office is rapidly expanding to roughly the same size as the Chicago office. The San Francisco office is located in the financial district on the California Street cable car line. The office is just a few blocks from the Ferry Building, gateway to transportation across the San Francisco Bay, and Union Square, famous for its shopping, hotels, and restaurants. Just north of the office is the Chinatown district, a significant cultural center and major tourist attraction.
